Do you constantly doubt yourself and worry that you’re not good enough?

Do you feel constantly on edge?

Do you feel like your business or work is suffering as a result of limiting beliefs?

Have you ever felt like talk therapy has been ineffective?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful therapy that helps people heal from overwhelming life experiences. EMDR is an incredible tool that can help individuals process their experience in a healthy way, leading to improved mental health outcomes.

EMDR retreats help people to feel better faster and provide a way to take EMDR therapy to the next level.

An EMDR retreat offers an intense focus on healing often eliminating the need for weekly therapy sessions. EMDR retreats can be customized depending on your individual needs, and typically last three to five days.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a type of psychotherapy used to treat overwhelming life experiences. EMDR helps people process overwhelming memories and negative core beliefs in a more effective way, allowing them to move forward in life with greater emotional clarity.

  • The way that EMDR works is through a series of bilateral stimulation techniques. This includes eye movements, sounds, or tapping that alternate between the right and left sides of the body. EMDR helps to process overwhelming life experiences and negative core beliefs in shorter amounts of time than just traditional talk therapy alone.

  • Like a lot of people, you might not have time for weekly therapy. What’s more, you may find that improvement happens very slowly because of how infrequent sessions are. An EMDR intensive retreat sidesteps this hurdle by taking a break to retreat away from your day-to-day life and immerse yourself in a deeply focused healing process. Intensive retreats are customized to your needs and can ranges from a series of half days or full days at a time and can incorporate trauma conscious yoga and acupuncture/massage sessions to help your body process stuck emotions.

An EMDR intensive provides a chance to process and resolve your trauma and stress in an individualized way with someone who can devote their entire day(s) to you. It’s an accelerated approach for people who are ready to be free from their past and move forward in their lives!

About EMDR Retreats

The traditional model of weekly psychotherapy is shifting to meet your needs. Now more than ever, we need flexibility in how we get support.

Perhaps you’ve been meaning to get into weekly therapy for a while now, but your schedule has been so hectic and demanding that a weekly therapy appointment feels more overwhelming than supportive.

Perhaps you’re needing help — and a lot of it — right now, and you don’t want to spend months in the traditional weekly model of therapy treatment to feel better.

At Soul Space we offer EMDR retreats for our new clients who prefer to work intensively.

EMDR is not just for trauma; it is also used for performance enhancement to excel in areas such as athletics, business, and relationships.

EMDR retreats are personalized treatment plans that allow you to skip the waitlist by giving you faster access to select spots, and are designed to support your preferred schedule and timeline for your treatment goals.

EMDR Retreats Include:

We have several options available for local residents or out of town guests.
