Meet Our Team

Madison Koza (she/her/hers)

My clinical approach is rooted in compassion, non-judgment, strengths, and open-mindedness. As a therapist who values relationships, I believe the connection I build with clients is at the forefront of healing. I strive to create a space where individuals feel safe to show up as their authentic selves — a space grounded in trust, respect, and genuine connection.

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with an Internal Family Systems (IFS) perspective, allowing for a holistic and flexible approach to understanding thoughts, behaviors, and the different parts of ourselves that surface in response to life’s challenges. I tailor each session to meet the unique needs and goals of my clients, using age-appropriate, evidence-based interventions.

I specialize in working with teenagers and young adults, particularly those navigating transitions, identity development, and relational shifts. I’m passionate about supporting individuals who are working to set boundaries, heal from family of origin dynamics, and manage anxiety, stress, and depression. I also work with couples, helping partners strengthen communication, deepen emotional connection, and navigate intimacy with greater understanding and compassion.

I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Arizona, graduating in 2022 with a Master’s in Counseling with an emphasis in Mental Health and Rehabilitation. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Outside of the office, I spend most of my time with my rescue dog, Benny — a border collie mix who loves treats and will often be in the office with me. We enjoy morning runs, dog park adventures, and just doing life together.

If you're seeking a therapist who values authentic connection and brings warmth, skill, and compassion into every session, I’d be honored to support you on your path toward healing and growth. Reaching out is a powerful first step — and I’m here when you’re ready!
