Meet Our Team

Madison Koza (she/her/hers)

My clinical approach is rooted in the values of compassion, non-judgment, strengths, and open-mindedness. I seek to provide clients with a safe and accepting space, where individuals can find hope and healing through support and shared learning.

My therapeutic approach centers on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a method that focuses on identifying and transforming negative thought patterns and behaviors. I tailor each treatment plan to meet the unique needs and aspirations of my clients, employing age-appropriate techniques and interventions. Building a strong therapeutic alliance based on trust and respect is paramount in my practice and paves the way for meaningful progress.

My expertise lies in empowering teenagers and young adults through evidence-based therapy, while working closely with my clients to equip them with effective tools to manage anxiety, stress, depression, and many other struggles. Our work together allows them to approach life's challenges with confidence in a safe, supportive space to explore identities, bolster self-esteem, and cultivate a positive self-image.

I attended the University of Arizona for both my undergrad and graduate studies. I graduated in 2022 with a Master’s in Counseling with an emphasis in Mental Health and Rehabilitation. I am currently a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and hold a certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have a border-collie mix named Benny that I rescued, he loves treats and will be with in the office with me. We love to spend our time together going on morning runs, hanging out at dog parks, and just doing life.

If you're seeking a therapist who specializes in CBT and understands the distinct challenges that life creates, I'm here to guide you on your journey to emotional well-being and personal growth. Don't hesitate to reach out and take the first step towards a brighter future.
