Meet Our Team
Harry Joiser
I am passionate about aiding individuals throughout their mental health journey, regardless of their current life stage. I support my clients through a Strengths-Based, Positive Psychology approach, pulling from my journey through addiction, depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideations. As a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard, my goal is to help Veterans, Active Duty, First Responders, and anyone else on the Front Lines. My aim and the vision of Soul Space is to help people not only when they are at their time of most need, but also when they are looking to thrive. One way in which we work to accomplish this is by reducing stigma around mental health, and for me, especially reducing stigma around men’s mental health, teens aged 13+, and athletes looking to improve their performance.
My journey started at the University of Arizona where I received my BA in Psychology. Being a first-generation American, I was the first person in my family to complete a higher education. After 9 years in the Coast Guard, I continued my educational journey at the University of the Rockies, getting my MA in Psychology. I then attended Grand Canyon University, where I obtained my MS in Professional Counseling. I practice through the lens of Trauma Informed Care, and the importance of body awareness and its role in our recovery.
Joining the Soul Space team is a culmination of my field experience and personal experience, having seen how people with mental health concerns are typically treated one-dimensionally, instead of as a whole. I align with Soul Space’s goal in that it truly offers an in-house, holistic approach. We are a collaboration-based team, and we are here to support you and be your community.
