Breathwork
If you haven’t practiced breathwork before, but you have wanted to try, you came to the right spot! This breathwork practice has been created with the beginner breather in mind. Breathwork is the practice of deep breathing and accessing a deeper connection with the body.
In this webinar we will talk about the basics of deep breathing, its benefits for the mind and body, and how to begin cultivating self-trust and self-support through our breathing. When we are able to be our best source of support for ourselves, we can then begin to recognize the sources of support we have outside ourselves. My goal as your breathwork guide is to provide a safe space where you can feel supported, open to be yourself and encouraged to learn and move forward in your personal growth.
Info about the presenter:
My name is Teresa Jansen. I recently graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Masters of Clinical Psychology in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling. I am also a certified breathwork facilitator with Pause Breathwork out of San Diego. I have been a certified breathwork coach for over a year now and have practiced deep breathing for over 4 years in my personal life…it is my passion! I work from a mainly somatic approach and have a deep belief in the power the body can have in leading people through the process of healing. It is truly an honor for me to help lead individuals through breathwork whether they are new to deep breathing or a seasoned breather.
